MICHAEL GALLO Managing Partner
A founding partner of BARetc., Michael has worked in the experiential marketing, restaurant and beverage industries for 19+ years. In fact, this isn’t his first successful company – he founded an agency for the Coors Brewing Company portfolio in 2005 and acted as COO before he left to start BARetc. (We’re pretty excited about his decision.) Throughout his career, he has launched new products or collaborated on national brand campaigns for clients such as Miller Brewing, Coca Cola, Anheuser Busch, FOX Sports, Bacardi USA, Brown Forman, and, most recently, E&J Gallo. He has even executed events at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics, Mardi Gras and four different Super Bowls!

Michael has a serious soft spot for good bourbons, red wine and craft beer…so he’s definitely in the right industry. When he’s not boating or breaking bones on the slopes, you might find him fighting off angry Cowboys fans when the Steelers take the field (Go Pittsburgh!). None of these beats quality time with his lovely wife and three kiddos though! How cute.
MASON ICE Managing Partner
Also a founding partner of BARetc., Mason has worn many hats in the adult beverage industry over the years. From embodying Captain Morgan at promotional events in his early 20s (Who doesn’t like a man with a beard?) and moving on to launch field marketing/merchandising efforts for Xbox and XM Radio, to creating national tour concepts for Coors Light, Mason’s range of experiences have shaped him into a mastermind of creative strategizing. He is able to transform industry trends into the most original, well-researched P.O.S. and concept packages available. How, you might ask? He brings the right resources together at the right times - every time.
Business Style: Innovative | Consistent | Resourceful
If you ask Mason to describe himself, it would probably be a hybrid of MacGyver and Stephen Hawking...with a dash of Gallagher mixed in for good measure. He is active on his city’s district board, is a self-proclaimed connoisseur of Bed & Breakfasts near and far, and rock climbs like nobody’s business. If the time is right, you might even find him near the front of the stage at SXSW or Coachella...uh, “researching millennials’ interests and trends”.
